Des Petits Mises à Jour (Little Updates)

1. I went to Reims this weekend, which is a little town in the Champagne region where pretty much all the major champagne houses are located. It was amazing, I ate probably the most decadent meal I’ve ever had in my life, stayed in an adorable hotel, and drank incredible champagne. More about this later. I needs my sleep!

2. My job is not very intellectually stimulating. I think tomorrow I might actually finish reading the Internet.

3. BUT I do have a new best friend named Matthais who is an intern at the firm. He’s 18, completely snarky, and is hands down the best dresser I have ever met (he wore AN ASCOT the other day and I DIED). We take frequent “cigarette breaks” in which we go downstairs and I watch him smoke while he tells me he loves my shoes. Why can’t straight boys be this nice?

4. I’m so emotionally distraught that Lindsay Lohan went to jail today. And by emotionally distraught, I mean, I have no sympathy for her and could really care less.

5. I fly home in 11 days! I have mixed feelings about this. Mainly, I’m excited and happy, but then I get weirded out like I should feel sad, but really I just want to be home with the people I love. And air conditioning.
